Family Space and Robot Camps at Schools
The programmes selected are representative of on-going activities for students at museums around the world. The ScienceCorridor programs use approaches backed by research coupled with the guidelines set by the National Science Teachers Association. The program uses a broad array of resources designed to introduce and enhance student’s understanding of critically important ideas in response to the everlasting question “where do we come from?” Choose from: Science Building bridges Building big: Tall, wide, and symmetrical buildings DNA Murder Mystery, a study of genetics Robotics Forces in motion (vector of forces in a parallelogram) Da Vinci and robotics (catapult) Race Astronomy (9+) Tools of astronomers Lifecycle of stars Blackholes Ultimate Universe Robotics and Astronomy: Legonauts, Mars Rover, Robotic arm, all operated remotely Dome shows for primary students include: Future moon, Earth’s wild ride, and Ultimate Universe Astronomy programmes include planetarium shows, 20-45 minutes in lengths, using mobile domes that can seat 45 students. Programme details: Duration: 2 hours, between 20-80 students with 1 parent each (total = 40-160) Timings: Evenings 4:00-6:00 or Sunday 10:00 – 12:00 Cost: Rs. 150 per person, minimum of 20 students.
